Check-in
Check people in at the door on any phone, with no sign-in. You create a check-in link from a view on Registrants, volunteers tap names as people arrive and afterward you can send attendance to CCB.
You need to be an Administrator or Ministry Leader, and you create links on a computer.
Create a check-in link
- Go to Registrants and pick (or save) the view of people you're checking in, like "Active" or "Bus 1".
- Click Actions > Check-in…
- Click Create check-in from "view name" (or New Check-in).
- Change the Name if you like and pick what shows on each row: Grade and Assignment / group.
- Click Create link.
Click Copy link or Show QR code and send it to your door volunteers. The link works until you revoke it.
Who's on the list
If your view only filters by status, event, grade, group or registration date, the list stays up to date on its own. New registrants show up at the door.
If it uses anything else (like balance or forms due), the list is a snapshot from when you created it. Click Refresh roster on the link to update it.
At the door
- Tap a name to check someone in. Tap again to undo.
- Search with Search names...
- Tap + to add a walk-in. Start typing their name to find them if they're already in your church directory, add their grade and a note like "paid $25 cash", then tap Add to check-in.
Several phones can use the same link at once. They stay in sync within a few seconds. The door screen needs internet.
After the event
Open the check-in link's menu on Registrants.
Match walk-ins
Click Walk-ins to match each walk-in to a person. Only walk-ins matched to someone with a CCB ID can be sent to CCB.
Complete check-in
- Click Complete check-in…
- Review the Report: who checked in, no-shows and walk-ins. Click Print for a copy.
- Click Continue to CCB.
- Pick the CCB group, then the event (or Create new event), and set the date and time.
- Click Send to CCB.
People without a CCB ID are skipped and listed so you can match them and try again.
Stop a link
Click Revoke link in its menu. The door link stops working immediately. Check-ins already recorded are kept. A revoked link can't be turned back on, so create a new one if you need it again.
