Every church has its own web address, like yourchurch.ministrytoolkit.com. You sign in there with the email your administrator invited.
Accept your invite
- Open the invite email and click the link.
- Type a password (at least 8 characters) in New Password and again in Confirm Password.
- Click Set Password. You're signed in and taken to your workspace.
If the page says This link is not valid, the link was already used or has expired. Ask your administrator to resend it from Workspace Settings > Users. See Users and roles.
Sign in after that
- Go to your church's address, for example
yourchurch.ministrytoolkit.com. - Enter your Email and Password.
- Click Sign In.
Don't know your address?
Go to ministrytoolkit.com/login, type the first part of your address in Workspace URL and click Continue. If you have no idea what it is, click What's my URL? or ask anyone on your staff team. It's the part before .ministrytoolkit.com in the link they use.
Forgot your password
- On your church's sign-in page, click Forgot your password?
- Enter your email and click Send Reset Link.
- Open the email and click the link.
- Set a new password and click Set Password.
The reset link only appears on your church's sign-in page, not on ministrytoolkit.com/login.
The welcome tour
The first time you sign in, a short tour points out the tool switcher, the ministry switcher and your avatar menu. Click Next to step through it or Skip to close it. It only shows once.
Common questions
"Your login works, but this email is not a member of any workspace." Your password is fine, but nobody has added you to a workspace yet. Resetting your password won't fix it. Ask an administrator to add you under Workspace Settings > Users.
"Your account is not a member of the ... workspace." You signed in at the wrong church's address, or you were removed from that workspace. Check the address, then ask that church's administrator to add you.
The invite email never showed up. Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, your administrator can click Resend email, or Copy invite link and send the link to you directly.
"Too many attempts." Wait a minute and try again.
I use the Serve app on my phone. Is that the same password? Yes if you're on staff. Volunteers set their own password when they set up the app. See Getting into the Serve app.
